Following the successful visit to Chicago that you organized for the President and lawyer of SOS-Esclaves from July 28 to August 2 2016, we want to thank you for your warm welcome and support throughout the visit. We want to thank the entire Abolition Institute team, with particular mention of Sean Tenner, Bakary Tandia, Lynda Holiday Lawrence and Michael Kurtz, and deep gratitude to all the others we met during our stay. We appreciate the help and guidance provided to us during all our activities.
We also particularly wish to thank all the associations and individuals we met, and to extend our gratitude to Reverend Jesse Jackson and Professor Cherif Bassiouni, for the enriching and constructive meetings we had during our visit. This experience allowed us to establish relationships with so many people fighting for human rights and against slavery.
This visit reassured us that from now on, we can count on committed and determined action from this diverse network of supporters. This will be a great advantage for our association and our members, as we share values of freedom, equality and justice. With women and men like yourselves and your friends at our side, we will undoubtedly further our cause.
With heartfelt thanks,
